Hi folks,
I was invited over here by a youtube user named Gamertag Woody, but I am not seeing any posts by him. Also confused by voidspy's following comment: "if you read the comments posted here 2 users called "Mr. Park Kim & Mustafa" post detailed info regarding how the footage was filmed" Again, I don't see these users or comments here. Am I missing something?

Regarding my thoughts on the video, I am leaning more towards real. I have spent years researching Christine Chubbuck, I am detail oriented. The lighting, the black and white dress, the desk, screen, and logo all match up in my opinion. There are various accounts of people claiming to have seen this footage many years ago, in various places. Their accounts of it also match up. I will try to locate the post that claimed the video was a video of the video being played. When I find it, I'll link you. All reported it to look fake, no blood, fast head slam, falls to her left off of the chair, out of view. A few mentioned audio about it being a sick joke. If that were true, I don't expect that the station would share that part of the footage with other stations, if they intended to sell the video to other Networks etc. Let's entertain that thought for a moment....it would have made sense for them to cut that out, and it wouldn't be far fetched to presume the thought occurred to sell it, but the family obtained an injunction preventing that from happening. With that thought in mind, I ventured onto google. I came across this article:

Here is an interesting bit from the article featuring Rob Smith (Smitty):
On the day Chubbuck killed herself, Smitty got a call. “I went down and I saw the tape. I’ll never forget—our program director was dubbing version after version. And we’re going, ‘What are you doing?’ And he’s saying, ‘Everybody’s gonna want this, CBS, NBC, they’re all gonna want it.’ We’re like, ‘You can’t show this shit! This is horrible.’ So the family got involved, and the owner put a clamp on it.” Smitty shook his head. “I saw it once and I didn’t need to see it anymore. It didn’t look real.”

“It just looked fake, like a bad joke or something?” Shilowich asked.

Smitty nodded. “That was something that Chris would do. I can see her doing a fake suicide more than anybody.”

With all of that said, I am one of the few who seem to feel this video does match up with the Sally Quinn description. If this is indeed a re-enactment, it is well done. Look at the lighting in the picture with the other broadcasters. I previously read posts regarding there being a mug on top of the letter C on the desk, no....that is the lighting. It matches up with the other real photographs. If you pause this video JUST before she falls off the chair, you can see that she is wearing a black and white patterned dress.

I was hoping we could attach images here....but seems that is not the case.

wow that detective work on the screenshots... seems spot on, never thought to go frame by frame since i thought it would be too blurry to see anything.

however as for the face "contorting" if i were to guess it seems like a rush of blood coming from her nose. 

after reading Sally Quinns story, it does seem exactly as she described, the hair, the mouth.. doubt it was blood as I had guessed earlier as the dark spot on her face disappears in the next frame. wow... this has got to be real.

I think someone asking Sally Quinn if this is the video could prove enough to confirm or not whether this is the footage she remember seeing. Do you think it's possible a better quality version exists out there and this is just a low quality version that was somehow found? Cause if Sally saw her face contort I'd bet she saw a way better version.

Why not wait to see what he actually produces? His account of having his first upload flagged seems possible. It is third party content, and would need editing to be accepted. Otherwise, it needs to be educational. No harm waiting it out to see what comes of it. Besides, it's not like we have received ANY feedback or answers from NS, have we? 

Yes, I understood that much. What I am saying is that what is the point in giving a thumbs down? He is promising to upload an in-depth explanation...so let him. I am certainly curious as to why he would comment on the NS video, but will not discount him over the upload date just yet. If he has not monetized the video what is the harm? If NS wanted to take ownership of it, certainly they would have by now. Instead we have crickets......
