What movie scared/s the crap out of you? For me, it was Lucio Fulci's "Zombie". I snuck into the movie theater and saw it when I was 13.I couldn't sit by an window for months! That movie still haunts me with how flat-out terrifying it is. By the way, I now own 3 different copies of it and have probably seen it close to 50 times, lol!

During that period of my life consumed entirely by horror films (I watched over 300 in a few months), only one of them truly horrified me: August Underground Mordum. The exact scene would be too NSFW to even describe. (It involves genital mutilation.) One doesn't really see the details well, it was the situation surrounding the event, the sheer glee of the tormentors and so forth that got to me. Though one scene I barely remember from The Curse had a similar effect but I don't remember anything except a guy in a red room and something happening to him.

The Blair Witch Project has always been by far one of my favorites. I've never really watched horror movies all that much, but for me Blair Witch certainly stands out.

Honestly I know it seems cliche to say but for me it has always been the first two Insidious movies. Not necessarily because of the jump scares (even though there are quite a few) it has to do more with the old lady in the black wedding dress she has always scared me and for some reason I have never been able to get that face out of my head when I think about it. Which is not often but still creepy. That is why that movie freaks me out.
